Art Behind The Scenes

Art behind the Scenes

Hello cosmic creatives! A very warm welcome on my first blog here.🤗 I am absolutely elated to be here.

So, since it’s my first blog here and we are just starting out on the website, I would like to dedicate this post to the artwork process that goes on behind the scenes. ✨

I make Artworks in various mediums such as acrylics on canvas or linen, watercolour on cotton paper, soft pastels on cotton paper, pen and ink on mixed media papers. While every medium has its own pros and cons, it also imparts its unique moods. Let’s dive into the process of Art prints now. When an artwork is ready, it is photographed or scanned depending on its size. Then it is cleaned and edited in a digital software, according to the mood and energy the art piece is meant to create. Often a certain artwork can have the potential to impart various imprints on the subconscious as soon as the colour palette changes while the shapes retain themselves, so why waste this potential right?

Once all the moods of an art piece are ready, all the artworks are sized before they go for a test print on all the print mediums. All the prints are checked for their colour match, vibrancy, and the quality. They are then priced, photographed and edited for listing images on the website. You can have a look at the Prints in the Gallery > Prints.

Now let’s move onto paintings. Typically an acrylic piece can take anywhere from 2 hours to 2 weeks depending on the kind of expression it carries. After signing it is left to dry before it can be varnished and dried again. Once a paintings’ series is completed, it is photographed for prints via a high resolution camera, to create prints. While it is sent for framing, photograph is edited to get rid of light and dust issues on it. This now follows the print proce4ss here onwards while the original paintings are rephotographed with frames, for their respective website listings. Now these are ready for dispatch. You can have a look at the Prints in the Gallery > Paintings.

All the frames that we use for paper prints are made from compressed grass ply, making it eco friendly as it is tree free, sustainable, biodegradable, reusable, recyclable. The prints are on cotton papers making them tree free. ♻🍀🌱🌴

Have a very beautiful and magical day!✨ See you soon with the next post.
